Shareholding:
The privately held portion of the SunSpace equity is owned by a group of private shareholders including individuals, the University of Stellenbosch through the Stellenbosch University Investment Trust and the black owned Dusty Moon Investment group. The Company and its shareholders have entered into a Preference Share Sale Agreement with the NEF that will result in a 30% shareholding by the NEF while the Dusty Moon shareholding remains at 25%.
Share options amounting to 5% of the company’s equity has been set aside for an employee incentive scheme. No allocations have been made to date.
Shareholding in the company is bound to change when the South African government exercises its intention to take up a majority shareholding in the company.
